Contra dance in Newport

A Community Contra Dance will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, from 8. to 11 p.m. in Fenner Hall, at 15 Fenner Ave.in Newport.

The event is open to all, no partner or experience needed. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Young children are free. Beginners and experienced dancers are welcome, Bring softsoled shoes. Light refreshments will be provided at the break.
