Kids camp for February vacation

A sleepover winter camp for 40 to 60 children will be held during February school vacation week at the W. Alton Jones Campus at the University of Rhode Island.

The camp is for students ages 9 to 13 and will include night walks, snowshoeing, sledding, skating, animal tracking, winter ecology, and campfires. These are just a few of the activities that will take place on the 2,300-acre campus.

All meals, accommodations, and activities are included in the $310 fee. The dates are Feb. 20 to 23. Call the Environmental Education Center at 397-3304, ext. 6043, for more information.
