Environmental scholarships offered

Sterling College is currently accepting applications for the Environmental Steward Scholarships.

Each fall, two students are awarded the scholarship to cover tuition expenses for four years of study. The scholarship criteria are based on the type and amount of environmental service and volunteer work completed and the level of commitment dedicated to these activities by the applicant.

All scholarship applicants must also be accepted for admission to Sterling College. The scholarship application deadline is April 1. Scholarship recipients will be announced on Earth Day on April 22.

The college offers the bachelor of arts degree with majors in conservation ecology, northern studies, outdoor education and leadership, sustainable agriculture, and selfdesigned studies. A comprehensive Internship program and global field

studies enhance the experientiallybased
