Seal watching tours offered

Take a cruise to see the seals of Narragansett Bay in their winter playground.

Board the M/V Alletta Morris for an up-close look at the seals in their natural habitat. The weather may be chilly, but don't worry, the boat is heated. Dress warmly and get ready for a great time. Each cruise includes a lecture by an expert guide and binoculars are provided.

Cruises depart from Bowen's Wharf on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 4, at 1:30 p.m. Tours run weekends and school vacation days through April 29. The complete season schedule is available at www.savebay.org.

Regular ticket cost is $20 per person. Members of Save The Bay, Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation, seniors, and children ages 6 through 12, receive a $5 discount. Reservations are recommended. Call 324-6020 or e-mail sealtours@savebay.org.
