Ball to support museum scheduled

The Snow Ball is this year's theme for the Newport Art Museum's annual Artists' Ball scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the museum.

New this year through an exciting partnership, this annual fundraiser will be the kick-off event for the 2007 Newport Winter Festival. Tickets for the event cost $50 in advance and $75 at the door. A $10 discount is taken when a Winter Festival Button is purchased in person with.

The Snow Ball will feature music by DJ Butch, a silent auction, and treats provided by area caterers and restaurants. Festive attire is suggested. The evening will also include a special preview of the 2007 Newport Annual: Members' Juried Exhibition in the Cushing Gallery.
