The following construction permits were recently filed at town hall:

Building permits

Wayne Deitrich received a permit Feb. 6 to install framing for a two-car garage at 13 Lawn Ave., work estimated to cost $23,900.

Peter Burns Construction received a permit Feb. 6 to add an awning over rear stairs at 23 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $6,900.

St. Mathews Episcopal Church received a permit Feb. 7 to remove existing sides on southside, install new red cedar shingles, replace existing 4- by 8-foot deck with a new 4- by 8-foot pressure treated deck at 87 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $8,500.

James Donnelly received a permit Feb. 7 to construct a 1,914- square-foot, single- family home with attached two-car garage at 100 Garboard St., work estimated to cost $248,500.

Joy and Michael Mikolay received a permit Feb. 8 to construct an 8- by 20-foot shed at 136 Columbia Lane, work estimated to cost $3,400.

Peter Johnstone received a permit Feb. 8 to install a new bathroom in a garage second-floor studio/loft at 40 Clarke St., work estimated to cost $5,000

Electrical permits

Mike Faella received a permit Feb. 6 to replace three doorbell buttons, fix the skylight motor, replace sub-panel in garage from 20 to 20 circuit panel at 245 Capstan St., work estimated to cost $2,000.

Mechanical permits

Standish Heat & A/C received a permit Feb. 7 to supply and install one single - zone, gas-fired, warm-air heating system with central a/c for second floor of garage and a 45,000-BTU heating unit for lower level of garage, gas piping included, at 412 Beavertail Rd., work estimated to cost $9,000.

Matthew Winton received a permit Feb. 8 to replace an oilfired, hot-water boiler at 94 Mt. Hope Ave., work estimated to cost $91.00.

Arthur Milot received a permit Feb. 12 to install a naturally vented LP gas stove and vent up into an existing factory-built all fuels-chimney, work estimated to cost $2,450.
