Peter Burns Construction received a permit Feb. 6 to add an awning over rear stairs at 23 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $6,900. St. Mathews Episcopal Church received a permit Feb. 7 to remove existing sides on southside, install new red cedar shingles, replace existing 4- by 8-foot deck with a new 4- by 8-foot pressure treated deck at 87 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $8,500. James Donnelly received a permit Feb. 7 to construct a 1,914- square-foot, single- family home with attached two-car garage at 100 Garboard St., work estimated to cost $248,500.
