See "Fame" at high school North Kingstown High School Music Department will present its production of "Fame the Musical" on March 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. and March 11 at 2 p.m. The production involves over 50 students onstage, offstage, and in the pit. The students have worked hundreds of hours on this production. The show is about the struggles that many teenage students encounter in high school while trying to become famous musicians, dancers, and actors at the School of Performing Arts in New York City during the 1980s. The audience will see how both good and bad decisions can effect the lives of these young students. Because of the mature nature of this show, parental guidance is suggested. Tickets can be purchased for $8 in advance, $10 at the door. Advance sale tickets are available during all four lunches during the week of the show at Ryan's Market and at the High School front office.
