Schroeder to speak in Saunderstown

Walter Schroder will speak about the military history of Dutch Island and lower Narragansett Bay on Monday, March 26, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at St. John's Chapel Meeting Room on the corner of Church Way and Willett Road in Saunderstown. The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session.

The lecture is sponsored by Friends of Saunderstown Village.

Schroder is the author of "Defenses of Narragansett Bay in World War II" and "Images of America: Dutch Island and Fort Greble."
