Kempe honored by food magazine

Yankee Food Service has named Amy Kempe, formerly of Jamestown, a "Woman of Influence in the Northeast." The magazine chose 10 women who have made a significant impact in the hospitality and tourism industry and who "play a significant role in the success of their company and dedication to their philanthropic and civic work."

As vice president and team leader for Regan Communications Group, Kempe heads up the Providence office. Kempe specializes in strategic planning and corporate positioning, crisis communications, corporate communications, event management and planning, community relations and media relations. Prior to j o i n i n g R e g a n , K e m p e worked for G T E C H Corporation, where she managed media relations.

Kempe grew up in Jamestown and currently resides in Newport.
