Resident Susan Little told Town Councilors last week that passing the vote on a highway barn site to voters in a referendum was an abdication of their responsibility. Her position was reported inaccurately in last weeks Press.

Likewise Julio DiGiando, who was reported to have said that the council should not back away from voting on the issue, had the opposite opinion.

At the same meeting, council president David Long was quoted as supporting putting a highway barn referendum to voters, when, in fact he said it was just one option the council should consider among several others.
