Island golfers take home trophy

Jamestown school golfers, Ryan Southworth, Chris Kopelchek, Owen Heath and Adam Southworth competed April 20 in the Johnson & Wales Team Challenge Tournament, which is part of the U.S. Challenge Cup Golf Foundation's Mini Tour at the Firefly Golf Course in Seekonk, Mass.

The team of Owen Heath and Adam Southworth won first place and brought home the Champions trophy upsetting the tournament's defending champions with a score of 4 over (62) in the 14 and under tournament. Ryan and Chris played a great tournament placing third overall with 6 over (64) in the two-player team best ball 18 hole event.
