Book group reads 'White Women'

The afternoon book discussion at the Jamestown library continues on Tuesday, May 8, with the book "One Thousand White Women: the Journals of May Dodd," by Jim Fergus.

The group meets at the library at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month.

The June discussion will be held on Tuesday, June 12, and the book will be, "The Light That Failed," by Rudyard Kipling, The July discussion will meet on Tuesday, July 10, and the discussion will be on "The Devil In The White City: Murder, Magic & Madness And The Fair That Changed America," by Erik Larson.

For more information, call the library at 423-7280. This book may be obtained through the Jamestown library by placing holds on one of the many copies in the state available through the Cooperating Libraries Automated Network (CLAN). Registration is not required. The meetings are free and open to the public and new members are encouraged to join.
