Harriet E. (Richardson) Linekin, 88
She married Everett Linekin in 1939. They lived together in several towns on the East Coast while Everett was in the Navy. They settled in San Diego in 1952, where Everett retired from the Navy. Harriet worked for the San Diego Public Library in several of their branches before retiring. After retirement, she was well known for her quilts, and had entered them in different shows. She is survived by five children, Paul (Wanda) Linekin, and Parker (Karyn) Linekin, of San Diego. Terry (Tom) Summers of Williston, Fla., Susan Hodges of Bellingham, Wash., and Michael (Mary) Linekin of St. Augustine, Fla., seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Richard, Gilbert, and Harold Richardson. A Jamestown burial will be scheduled at a future date. |
