Esther C. Fantoli, 81
Esther C. Fantoli, 81, of Jamestown died Monday, April 30, 2007. She was the wife of the late Robert Fantoli.

Born in Stafford Springs, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Victor and Josephine (Geovanas) Tonidandel. She was a communicant of St. Mark Church, a member of the Jamestown Senior Center, and a volunteer at a soup kitchen in Newport. She taught knitting and sewing to many people and sewed gowns for premature infants for the organization Threads of Love.

She is survived by three sons, John Fantoli, and his wife, Joyce, of Jamestown, James Fantoli of Ashford, Conn., and Richard Fantoli and his wife, June, of Kennebunk, Maine; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Leo Tonidandel and two sisters, Norma Basset and Ada Tonidandel.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 4, at St. Mark Church. Calling hours in Connecticut will be on Saturday, May 5, from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Stafford Springs, Conn. Burial will follow in St. Edward's Cemetery, Stafford Springs.
