Spring bird count this weekend

The 23rd Annual Conanicut Island Spring Bird Count will be held this Saturday, May 12.

Interested birders should meet at the Jamestown police station conference room at 6:30 a.m. with binoculars, field guides and appropriate hiking/ walking shoes. The group will be divided into four groups to cover the island in search of as many different bird species as possible.
