Pet U. class at Potter League

The Potter League for Animals is holding a Potter Pet University class on Thursday, May 17, at Middletown Baptist Church, 1818 West Main Rd. in Middletown. The presentation will include an exclusive viewing of the award winning documentary "Prison Pups" by Alice D. Bouvrie. Peter Manning will discuss N.E.A.D.'s unique program featuring prisoner inmates who are training service dogs to help disabled veterans returning from Iraq.

Classes are offered the third Thursday of each month, are free of charge and begin at 6:30 p.m. at the church. For more information on this class or to pre-register, call the Potter League at 846-8276.
