Medical fund to hold plant sale

The annual plant sale for the Jamestown Medical Fund will be on May 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Ferry.

There will be flats of annuals, along with colorful hanging baskets and containers.

The Jamestown Medical Fund was created to help those in the community "bridge the gap" when medical expenses vital to their continued health exceed their ability to pay.

The focus is to help those residents of Jamestown cover medical expenses related to an injury or illness that their insurance or personal resources fail to cover.

Residents who need assistance are encouraged to apply. Applications are available from Baker's Pharmacy, Jamestown Family Practice, or by writing the JMF at P.O. Box 236.
