A new Seabee coming Saturday

The Seabee Museum and Memorial Park at Davisville, an organization for retired Seabees, will dedicate a new replica "Fighting Seabee" at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, on the grounds of the museum.

State officials, as well as retired and active Seabees are expected to attend. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

Visitors to the six-acre Seabee Museum and Memorial Park in North Kingstown will be able to see the new Seabee along with the larger replica Seabee that was formerly located at the entrance to the Davisville Navy Base.

The Seabee Museum is located at 21 Iafrate Way, North Kingstown, and Island X-1 Davisville.
