Drunk Driving Reported

Katharine Shea, 23, of 40 Oakdale Rd., North Kingstown, was stopped May 20 in a parking lot on Narragansett Avenue for erratic driving, and was charged with first offense drunk driving and refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer test, according to police. She was held overnight at the police station. A pre-trial court date is scheduled for May 25 at Newport District Court, police said.

Larceny Reported

A handheld GPS unit was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on 63 West Wind Drive on May 17.
