Join the library Friends

Check this week's issue of the Jamestown Press for your Friends of the Jamestown Library membership form.

The Friends' membership benefits include free admission to the annual book sale preview, first option for Cinco de Mayo tickets (a sellout every time), prior program notification, and satisfaction in supporting quality library programs.

The Friends of the Jamestown Library provided more than 30 programs this year, in addition to all the children's programs, including summer reading program costs. Membership contributions are two-thirds of their budget. Other fund-raising activities and donations make up the rest.

The new membership year gets underway June 1. Current members will receive a form in the mail, with additional copies available around town and at the library. The Friends of the Jamestown Library urge everyone to join the Friends and support excellent community programs in the library for Jamestown.
