Dawgz are darned pleased

The Rocket Dawgz, aka Jamestown Fireworks Committee are just darned pleased to tell you that contributions to the Independence Day fireworks display are coming in at a generous clip. Thanks to all who have donated to our swan song exhibition. That's right, after 2007 the Dawgz will hang up their flares and mortars. We hope to go out with a BIG bang, though you and only you can help. There's a long way to go to provide the kind of show we all have grown to expect. The Jamestown fireworks will take place on Wednesday, July 4, at the beach at Mackerel Cove. The display will begin at dark and not before 9:15 p.m. The rain date is Thursday, July 5.
