Art scholarships announced

The Conanicut Island Art Association awarded scholarships to four island high school students who will use the funds to continue their pursuit of the arts.

Alicia Lane, of North Kingstown High School, received a $2,000 grant. Alyssa Davis, also a student at NK, received $500.

Holly Huffine, from the Prout School, and Danielle Brown, who is home schooled, each received $250 from the CIAA.
