Festival auction items piling up

The live and silent auction items will be a highlight of the annual Festival at Central Baptist Church on June 23.

Among the items up for bid are Red Sox tickets, an afternoon sail on the Narragansett Bay, a boat tour of Newport Harbor and a custom painting of one's house.

The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Donations of auction items are still being accepted. The church will be open on Saturday, June 16, from 9 a.m. to noon for donations. For more information, call Elaine at 423-2422.
