Donna Hull, 45
Donna (Ferrara) Hull, 45, of Jamestown, died Thursday, June 7, at Newport Hospital after a brave eight-year fight with metastatic breast cancer. She was the wife of Matthew Hull for 13 years.

Her funeral was held Monday at Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home and was followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark Church. Burial was in St. Mark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Healing Co-Op, 272 Mitchell's Lane, Middletown, RI 02842 will be appreciated.
Born in Boston, a daughter of Frank Ferrara of Cumberland and the late Ann (Struzziery) Ferrara, she has been a resident of Jamestown since 1994.

Donna was a graduate of Fontbonne Academy in Milton, Mass. and received an associate's degree in business administration from Mt. Ida College in Newton, Mass.

She was an innkeeper in Newport prior to her recurrence of cancer. She was a member of the Healing Co-Op located in Middletown, a non-profit center dedicated to the support of women with cancer and the their families. Donna was a member of St. Mark Parish. She enjoyed living by the shore, cooking, gardening, shopping and making a home. She was an avid lover of animals, but most of all enjoyed the love and companionship of her chocolate lab Gibbs.

Besides her husband and father, she leaves two brothers, John and his wife, Maryellen, of Plainville, Mass., Matthew and his wife, Christine, of Florida; two nieces, Sarah Ann and Ellen Marie; beloved friends and family; and many breast friends from the Healing Co-Op.
