Long caved to north end pressure

In the speech before his tie-breaking vote to hide the new town barn under the Newport Bridge, Dave Long admitted that he was caving in to the constant pressure, delaying tactics, and lawsuit threats of the North End NIMBYs.

Their money and political juice had carried the day. I suggest the honorable thing for Dave to do is make it his last political act.
