Teen activities planned

The Teen Council meets at the recreation center every Wednesday from 3 to 4 p.m.

Mondays are girl's softball pick-up nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lawn Avenue fields. Softball is for girls entering grade 5 and up. Friends and family are welcome.

The third annual Six Flags New England trip will be on Tuesday, July 10, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is $30 including bus transportation. The trip is sponsored by the Jamestown Police Department.

A visit to the Yawgoo Valley Waterslide will be on Wednesday, July 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $20, which includes bus transportation.

All teen center participants must have completed grade 6 and be under 18 or entering their senior year of high school.
