      Summer music in Jamestown continues at East Ferry Memorial Square this Sunday, July 22, at 6:30 p.m. Featured will be Atwater Donnelly, a Rhode Islandbased folk music duo who met as volunteers at Stone Soup Coffee House in Providence in 1987 and have been singing together ever since.

      The Jamestown Lions Club will host the Ocean State Follies on Thursday, July 26, at 7 p.m. at the Jamestown Community Center, 41 Conanicus Avenue. The Follies poke good-natured fun at the "state" of the state through song parodies and skits.

Association stages art exhibit
      The Conanicut Island Art Association Annual Art Exhibit starts today, Thursday, July 19, at 10 a.m. in the community center. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Sunday, July 22. The show is free and open to the public.
