Swim the Bay this Saturday

More than 450 swimmers will take to the water this Saturday morning, July 21, as part of the 30th Annual Save the Bay swim.

Participants will swim the 1.7-mile length of the Newport Bridge from the Naval War College in Newport to Potter's Cove in Jamestown.

The swim will start at 8:30 a.m. from the War College and the first swimmers are expected to reach Potter's Cove just after 9 a.m.
