Book group reads See's 'Secret Fan'

The Afternoon Book Discussion at the Jamestown library continues on Tuesday, August 14, at l p.m. with the book "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan," by Lisa See.

After a lively discussion of "The Devil in the White City," the group decided to hold an August discussion. The Tuesday book discussion has been ongoing since February 1997 and they meet the second Tuesday of each month. The group is open to the public and discusses a variety of fiction and non-fiction titles. New participants are always welcome.

The book "Founding Mothers: The Women Who Raised Our Nation," by Cokie Roberts will be discussed in September.

For more information, call the library at 423-7280. This book may be obtained through the Jamestown Library by placing holds on one of the many copies in the state available through the Cooperating Libraries Automated Network (CLAN). Registration is not required.
