Summer music in Jamestown continues Sunday, Aug. 5, at 6:30 p.m., with Garry Foisy, who will make his Jamestown debut.
Co-sponsored by Meagher Design and Island Realty, Garry Foisy is a singer-songwriter acoustic guitarist, with a strong personal style and a keen passion for vocals, harmony and meaningful lyrics. Garry has been playing, writing and performing throughout the New England area for over 20 years. A member of the Rhode Island Songwriters Association, he has been exploring acoustic venues that cater toward singer/songwriter original music and is performing as a featured artist in concert auditoriums, cafés and coffee shops throughout New England.
With a writing style that is reflective and that captures life situations, songs like "The Root Grows Deep," "Eli," and "From the Heart," are true stand outs and sing of family, growing up, and what's truly important. Come join the fun on at the East Ferry Memorial Square for the free concert.
Bring beach chairs or blankets, and in case of inclement weather, the show will go on across the street in the recreation center.
