Librarians to detail Ghana trip

Former Jamestown children's librarian Kris Williams and Lisa Davis, who is currently working for Ocean State Libraries, will talk about their recent trip to Ghana on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m., at the library. The program will include slides of their work at the library of a Ghanaian school for the deaf.

The program will include information on Ghanaian culture, Ghanaian libraries, deaf culture in Ghana, libraries in sub-Saharan Africa as well as what they wished they had known before leaving on the trip.
