Talent show coming next week

The 18th Annual Talent Show, "350 Years: Then and Now," has something for everyone, with both new and repeat performers.

So far, signed acts include John Biddle, Emily Anthony, Ava White, the Kathy Brownell follies, Janet Grant on piano, and the Barbershop group, "Just 4 Fun." Several surprises and at least two world premieres of new songs are promised.

Frank Darigan will once again serve as Master of Ceremonies on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 7:30 p.m., at the Jamestown Community Center, 41 Conanicus Ave.

Anyone may try out for the show at open auditions on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 13 and 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the community center. A piano accompanist will be available.
