Suspended license,

fugitive charges

Guy Frigon, 48, of 865 East Shore Rd., was charged Sept. 3 with driving on a suspended license and for being a fugitive from justice in violation of a warrant from another state. Frigon was stopped for speeding on North Main Road, police said.

Frigon was held overnight at the police station and arraigned at Newport District Court the next morning, police said.

Larcenies reported

• A 120-quart cooler containing 2-pounds of fish was reported missing Sept. 2 from a campsite at Fort Getty, police said.

• An unlocked car was entered on Aug. 31 and a wallet containing $80 and an iPod worth $250 were reported stolen, police said.
