Give blood, win Patriots' tickets

A blood drive, sponsored by the island veteran's groups, will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holy Ghost Hall.

Arnold Zweir Post 22 of the American Legion and VFW Post 9447 will be the co-sponsors of the event.

Donors will be entered into a pool to win a pair of tickets to see the New England Patriots play the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Oct. 28 at Gillette Stadium.

To be a blood donor one must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds and be in general good health.
