Beach cleanup this Saturday

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island will sponsor a coastal cleanup event on Saturday, Sept. 15, at locations around Rhode Island, including Jamestown.

Anyone interested in helping to clean the area beaches is asked to call local coordinator Jack Yando at 787-4929, who will conduct a shoreside cleanup at Ft. Wetherill, or Debra Greenhalgh at 742-4898, who is in charge of the underwater cleanup.
