Audition for ballet theatre

Rhode Island's ballet theatre, a classical ballet pre-professional training and non-profit performing dance company, will hold its semiannual audition for new dancers.

Rhode Island's ballet theatre is seeking talented dancers, ages 9 to 18, for membership in the company. The Company has two major performances a year and costumes are provided. They hold master classes for their dancers and underwrite tickets to major professional performances to help the dancers be the best performers they can be. The company meets once a week on Thursday.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m. at RI Ballet Arts Academy, 7610 Post Rd., North Kingstown, RI 02852. An audition fee of $10 is required. Call 847-5301 for information and reservations.
