Walton memorial service

A memorial service will be held for Richmond Lee Walton, 83, who died Feb. 4, 2007 and his wife, Barbara Clarke Walton, 82, who passed away on July 6, 2007. The couple lived in Marion, Indiana.

The service will be at St. Matthew's church on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m.

Barbara Clarke Walton was born in Jamestown, to the late Arthur S. and Nellie (Hoyle) Clarke. In 1950, she married R. Lee Walton, M.D. She was a graduate of Newport High School and the Rhode Island State Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Rhode Island State Hospital from 1946 to 1950.
