Children's music classes set

Ready, Set, Play with Cindy is starting another season of Kindermusik with the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department. She will be presenting ABC Music and Me, a new program offered by Kindermusik International. The sessions are designed for youngsters, ages 2 to 4, for 40-minute classes on Mondays at 10:30 a.m., starting Oct. 1, at the Wellspring Studio, 32 Pemberton Ave.

A new theme will be featured each month and families may sign up month to month. "Animals A-Dancing" will be the theme for October. Focus for the children will be on varied voice sounds and body movements. The home kit provides a Family Activity Guide and CD, which are based on activities in the classroom. The materials include suggestions for family activities to continue the lessons.

The cost is $50 a month for four sessions; this includes $15 for materials and $35 for tuition. Children may be left at the studio with Cindy Olsen, Kindermusik educator. Parents or caregivers are not required to attend. For details, call Olsen at 608-2022.
