Apple festival in Middletown

Whitehall House in Middletown will hold an Apple Day on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The event will include harvest and apple treats, homemade cider and an Indian pudding tasting as well as games and tours of the house museum.

Whitehall was the home of Dean George Berkeley, philosopher, scholar and creator of the 1729 country manor house located on Berkeley Avenue in Middletown.

Apple Day is sponsored by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of Rhode Island.
