'Women's night' in Wickford

The North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce and the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County are sponsoring "Women's Night in Wickford" tonight, Thursday, Oct. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. The evening was planned as a way to promote awareness of domestic violence in the community.

Askham & Telham and Mystic Scrimshanders will offer "Empowering Women Through Dance". Belly Dancers and a Hula dancer will perform at the two shops, located at 12 and 14 Main Street from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Women can observe the dance, and try a few moves themselves. Call Barbara Cullen at 294-2262.
