Learn about volunteer opportunities at fair

The Friends of the Jamestown Library are sponsoring a Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the library.

Over 30 local groups have been invited to present their organization to the members of the Jamestown community. Each organization will have a table with a representative to discuss agendas and goals. Informational materials will also be available.

This unique opportunity is provided for Jamestowners to learn about all different kinds of volunteer opportunities in the community. Organizations need members to continue their efforts that make Jamestown a special place to live. The Volunteer Fair will provide an opportunity for residents to get involved in these efforts.
