AARP meets in Newport

The next meeting of the Newport County Chapter of AARP will be held on Monday, Oct. 15, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fenner Avenue Hall in Newport.

The guest speaker will be Sheila Mullowney, executive editor of the Newport Daily News.

Members who wish to pay their dues or anyone wishing to join the organization should come a little earlier to meet with the membership committee.
