Community Band Concert Oct. 30

The Jamestown Community Band, under the direction of Sara Geremia, will hold its annual fall concert on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. at the Portuguese American Citizens' Club, 138 Narragansett Ave.

The band of 25 to 30 musicians on flute, clarinet, saxophones, high and low brass, and percussion/ glock sections will perform some new works along with some favorite selections.

At the completion of this fall program, the band will begin rehearsals for its annual Christmas concert.

The concert is free and refreshments will follow the performance.
