Jamestown band to play fall concert

The Jamestown Community Band, under the direction of Sara Geremia, will hold its fall concert on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. at the Portuguese American Citizens' Club, 138 Narragansett Ave.

The band of 25 to 30 musicians on flute, clarinet, saxophones, high and low brass, and percussion/ glock sections will perform some new works along with some favorite selections.

The concert is free and refreshments will follow the performance.
