Dinner to fund capitol trip

Jamestown's grade 8 students will be traveling to Washington D.C. next June for a four-day field trip.

A dinner will be held on Saturday, Nov.17, to help raise money to pay for this trip. The dinner will be served by the students to members of the public who want to see that the trip is funded.

St. Matthew's parish hall will be the setting for the event. Tickets are $30 for an upscale dinner, with a choice of steak, chicken or vegetarian lasagna. Seatings are from 5 to 6 p.m. or from 6 to 7 p.m. and tickets are limited to only 60 for each seating. Buy tickets at Baker's Pharmacy, or call Sue Fay at 423-3027.
