Warners to be honored for lighthouse volunteer service

Two Jamestown residents will be honored at the South County Hospital's 7th annual Thanksgiving Tuesday Community Service Awards, which will be held Nov. 20 at the Towers in Narragansett.

George and Linda Warner have demonstrated outstanding service to a community organization, the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum, in a volunteer capacity. Linda and George have each served the lighthouse as presidents of the organization.

The awards will be presented from 5 to 7 p.m. and the public is invited to attend the free event. Five additional South County residents will be honored at the event. For more information, call 788-1610.
