Self defense for women offered

The Jamestown Police Department is offering a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Class. This is a basic self-defense class for women of all ages. The four-day class will be held Dec. 2 to 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Jamestown Recreation Center, 41 Conanicus Ave. The class is being sponsored by the Jamestown Police Officers Benevolent Association. The class is offered free of charge. Anyone interested should call Officer Karen Catlow at the Jamestown Police Station. Space is limited.
