We always need volunteers

Many residents may find it hard to believe, but the Town of Jamestown relies on a totally volunteer department to provide all of the fire suppression services we have in town.

Currently the department responds to nearly 400 calls per year and we conduct weekly training sessions on Thursday evenings. The department and the community can always use more help. We can use drivers, runners, helpers, firefighters and operators. If you are interested or would like more information, please call 423-0062, ext. 105 and speak with Capt. Marcus Cochran or Lt. Alan Weaver about our department.

James Bryer, Chief Jamestown Fire Department
