Service offered in East Greenwich for all who have lost loved ones

For those who have lost a loved one, the holiday season can be especially difficult. In acknowledgement of that, Christ Church in East Greenwich will be having a Service of Remembrance on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. for loved ones who have died.

The service will be an informal and meditative service of worship, with music, candle lighting, and reflection to help for approaching the holidays. Led by the pastoral staff and the grief support team of Christ Church, the service is open to anyone needing God's healing and hope.

A time of refreshments and community will follow. The church is located at 1025 Main St. in East Greenwich at the corner of Post Road and Cedar Avenue. For more information, call 884-8632.
