Museum craft fair this weekend

Beavertail Lighthouse Museum Association will be taking part in the holiday festivities this weekend

On Saturday, Dec 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, visit the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum Association's table at the Holiday Craft Fair. Select from articles reflecting the beauty, functions, and lore of lighthouses, including giftware, apparel, holiday greeting cards, books, children's items, and more at the Melrose School.

The Halls of the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum will be decked out in the motifs of the season and the sea to celebrate the holidays in lighthouse style on Sunday, Dec. 2, from 12 to 3 p.m., at Beavertail Lighthouse.

Refreshments will be served and the gift shop will be open, offering visitors an array of small gifts and mementoes of Conanicut Island's historic lighthouse and national landmark.
